HALIFAX, NS—Halifax has been struck yet again by dangerous winter weather. As a result, the decision has been made to suspend all classes for the remainder of the day in an attempt to keep all Dalhousie students and faculty safe.
“I am aware that class is completely online” said a Dalhousie representative. “Sure- almost all professors and students complete school from their homes anyway—but we didn’t want to take our chances. The trip from your bed to your desk can be hazardous— especially with the glare of the snow coming in through the window.”
“I really think the University took great initiative on this one, I’m glad they value our safety as students” said Janice Chang, a Dalhousie student completing her semester in the Bahamas, where it is currently 32 degrees and sunny.
