Halifax, NS — Halloween has come and gone, but spooky season is not yet over for some students at Dalhousie University. One student in particular, Glebe Fleeman, is changing his whole belief system after experiencing several incidents he describes as ‘paranormal activity.’
“I never thought I would be the type to get haunted- hell I never thought I even believed in ghosts! But this semester has changed things,” Fleeman explained.
In a statement to The Mackerel, Fleeman explained that his first run-in with the paranormal was after a date he went on in September.
“I thought it went super well, man. She was gorgeous, this super pale girl with sunken eyes and cold hands. I showed her my whole camera roll and sent a selfie of us to my mom! I thought it was the real deal. But then, she vanished off the face of the Earth. I couldn’t find her on any social media, and my messages wouldn’t send to her number. I was so confused,” said Fleeman.
Fleeman reported having experienced seven counts of paranormal activity, all following the same pattern: Fleeman would have a ‘successful’ first date, then never hear from the girl again.
“At first, I thought I was losing my mind, but then I was talking to my roommate about it, and you know what he said? He said, ‘It sounds like you’re getting ghosted,’” Fleeman explained. “And that’s when it hit me: I AM being ghosted! Clearly, some supernatural entity is haunting me by appearing before me in the form of a beautiful girl, making me emotionally vulnerable by showing my camera roll, then disappearing entirely.”
“I briefly considered getting a paranormal investigator involved, but I realized that, paranormal or not, I totally have a thing for ghostly chicks. My seven undead exes may have left me, but now I’m talking to this new girl on the Ouija board, and I think this time I’ve found the one.”
