HALIFAX, N.S. — In a shocking turn of events, the Halifax Ghost Walk is adding another haunted landmark to their ghost tour. Joining the likes of cemeteries and Citadel, a student house on Edward Street has been designated haunted and will be the reason for the ghost tour’s updated route.
Annabelle Warren, a resident of the house, reached out to The Mackerel to tell her story.
“It started off small. I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the fridge when it opened. It just kept building though, drawers would be open, food would be rotten, dishes that I never used would magically get dirty and get left in the sink. There was only one explanation: the house was haunted,” said Warren.
Warren’s roommate, Claude Larue, has experienced the haunting on an even deeper level.
“Yeah… The ghost definitely is out to get us. I am pretty sure the ghost ate [Warren’s] leftovers… And also let the cat out that one night that it got out and never came back… Oh and worst of all, the time I got home from The Dome and threw up all over the hallway and the floor, that was clearly demonic possession,” said Larue.
Professors at the University of King’s College are reportedly preparing to perform an exorcism on the residence.
