The Dalhousie School of Architecture is restructuring its recruitment strategies for the 2021/2022 school year. The program is currently ranked 10th in the country, however, Dalhousie has its sights set on becoming one of Canada’s premier architecture schools.
“We were brainstorming ways to make ourselves more prestigious” said the head of recruitment for the program, “someone pitched the brilliant idea of displaying the richness and historical significance of Nova Scotia’s finest architecture”. As a result, the entire 2021/2022 recruitment campaign will center around the Halifax Grain Elevator, widely regarded as the most stunning feature of the Halifax skyline.
“I just can’t take my eyes off of the thing” said future student, Ted Buckley. He continued with “My only hope is that someday I can design a building as elegant and awe-inspiring as the Grain Elevator”.
